How to Invest in Real Estate if I don't have a lot of MONEY?
One of the biggest objections that I get from people who would love to invest in real estate but they don't have enough to put 20% down on a property is like you know how do I get started in investing without having a ton of money down? Well, the first thing I would say is that you should own your own home and of course, you can own your own home for as little as three percent or sometimes even zero down. If you're a veteran or if you qualify for USDA financing or some down payment assistance programs sometimes you can even get into a home for no money down and once you're in the home down the line, if you're not married to that house or where you're living you might decide that it could work to turn that into a rental property and then go buy your next primary residence maybe you need more space, you turn your old one into a rental and you buy your next property with very little money down that is the best way to get started with investing especially if you're in a position where you could move.
